At the southernmost tip of Lanai, not far from the first pineapple fields, lies a crystal blue bay with golden cliffs that draws countless divers into its spell: Kaunolu Cove! Here lies one catamaran next to the other and divers explore an underwater world that literally has rainbow-like shoals of fish to offer. But brave cliff divers also get their money's worth at Kaunolu Cove. Where once the ancient Hawaiians showed their courage, today travelers from all over the world jump down the steep cliffs into the Pacific. Kona Brewing has dedicated this magical place to the Gold Cliff IPA, which is made with plenty of local pineapple and premium hop varieties. Ordinary 7.2% vol. Alcohol content and a good dose of island feeling are just waiting to be tasted.

In the glass, the Kona Gold Cliff IPA shines in a golden yellow robe and is decorated by a white foam crown. Fruity notes of citrus fruits and sweet pineapple smell from the glass. In the Antrunk a subtly sweetish malt note is recognizable, from fruity hop notes of citrus, mandarin and pineapple. The Gold Cliff IPA is nicely rounded off by a strong-bitter hops aroma.
