History

In 1879 Lars Olsson Smith introduced continuous distillation, with which he produced Absolut Rent Brännvin. Instead of the usual three or four times, the vodka was distilled endlessly. Absolut Mixt is only produced with natural aromas and high quality Absolut Vodka from the same supplier to maintain our quality standard.
Ingredients

All products are made with the original Absolut Vodka and natural flavors, inspired by our Swedish heritage and exotic flavors. Absolut Vodka is made from water and winter wheat. The water comes from a deep well in Åhus, where it is protected from impurities. Winter wheat is different from other crops: sown in the first autumn, the next one is harvested. In the days in between, it grows under the Swedish snow and develops its hard grain. The use of fertilizers is also minimal.
