As early as 1835, the MG distillery was founded in Vilanova, a small fishing village near Barcelona, and is now run by the Giro family in the fifth generation. In 1940, the distillery launched the MG Gin, which is still one of the best-selling gins in Spain. In 2007 followed the Gin Mare, 10 years later the Le Tribute Gin, which is distinguished by its strong citrus notes. Especially for the Le Tribute, the family Giro launched the Tonic Water, which, with its light rosemary, complements the gin well. The Le Tribute Tonic is made from natural quinine from Loja (South America). Like the Gin, the Tonic also presents itself in a noble glass bottle, which is visually inspired by Art Nouveau.
