Already at the beginning of the 20th century, the Bottega family made a name for itself in the wine trade and in the production of grappa. Rosina Bottega worked at a distillery in the Veneto region when she was young, where she met her future husband Aldo Bottega. Both learned here how to distill grappa from the best grappa master distillers. In the 1960s, together with a partner, they started their own business, taking over the Santor distillery. In 1977 they founded the Bottega distillery, making their name a brand. After Aldo's untimely death, Rosina continued the distillery with her son Sandro and even today - after Rosina's death - the company is in the hands of the third generation of the family. Today, four oenologists strive to produce wines, sparkling wines, grappas and liqueurs of the highest quality based on the cultivated vines. At Bottega, quality and care for raw materials are the first and most important steps in the production of a good grappa. Fior di Latte Grappa is a creamy liqueur, pleasantly sweet and with a moderate alcohol content, characterized by an intense aroma of white chocolate. The "white version" of chocolate is the result of a traditional processing method of cocoa seeds. This liqueur is characterized by an intense and persistent bouquet and flavor, with aromas of milk, butter, vanilla and cookie that introduce the sensuality and softness of dairy cream.
