In 1715 Jean Martell founded just 21 years the distillery, which quickly grew in size and reputation. Today it is one of the oldest, large Cognac houses. As Jean Martell died in 1753, his sons took over Jean and Frédéric the lead. The company is still family owned and is now in its ninth generation.

The "Martell L'Or de Jean Martell" consists of over 400 spirits of the Regions Grande Champagne and Borderies, some of which are over 100 years old. In his ornate hand-crystal carafe he continues the tradition of precious encounters.

Colour: Intense amber with mahogany hues.

Nose: notes of bergamot and orange peel and gingerbread, woody notes (myrrh, undergrowth and Rancio)

Taste: In the beginning silky and subtle, then the aromas unfold harmoniously.

Finish: Exquisite final with very long finish and develop the flavors.
