The world of party liqueurs is full of curiosities. There are the most absurd bottles, the craziest names and the most unusual flavors. The liqueurs of the German manufacturer Kopfgetriebeöl first of all cause a sensation with their appearance, because the bottles could easily be mistaken for motor oil. That's why it's written specially on the bottle: "Do not pour into engines!". Have there ever been any incidents in this regard? Be that as it may: Marius Müller markets his work as "gear oil for the human body". This consists of 30% fruit juice and is refined with lots of cranberry as well as walnut and tonka bean. The epithet T16 is meant to refer to two things: (1) the tonka bean as a special ingredient, (2) the 16% drinking strength. The liqueur can be drunk iced as a shot or served in many kinds of cocktails. Recommended, for example, the combination with tonic water, grapefruit juice, rosé champagne, cola, soda or even bitter lemon.
