Jefferson Amaro Importante 70 cl / 30 % Italien The Jefferson Amaro Importante is back on the world stage as a cult brand since 2016! And at the latest after winning the World Drinks Awards as the best liqueur 2018, it is world-famous and is indispensable in the Italian drinking culture! Since 2016, the liqueur has been made again using the same recipe as in 1871. Jefferson Amaro Importante. The story goes that after surviving the shipwreck, he found refuge in the old bonded warehouse (Vecchio Magazzino Doganale). It was he who selected and gathered citrus fruits, aromatic spices and herbs from all over Calabria.Today, all this is reproduced again in an authentic way, paying very close attention to details.Bergamot, sweet and sour oranges, rosemary and oregano, are the basic and natural ingredients from Calabria.Combined with other herbs and spices, they make up the unique Jefferson. Its Mediterranean flavor can be enjoyed both at room temperature and chilled. Ideal for mixing, for great classics, as a bitter or as an addition to vermouth.

From an ancient Piedmontese recipe consisting of 34 herbs and aromatic plants among others gentian, cinchona bark, rhubarb and many others, this exceptional and unique amaro is carefully macerated for several weeks. Spicy aroma characterized by herbs and spices, pleasant bitter note, harmonious, long bitter-sweet finish. History The "Antica Distilleria Sibona", located only a few kilometers from the town of Alba, is one of the oldest and most traditional distilleries in Italy. It was founded more than 100 years ago and holds the "licenza di distillazione N° 1", a coveted license granted by the tax office exclusively to distilleries rich in tradition. As a special anecdote, it should be mentioned that in the beginning Sibona distilled with the help of an old converted locomotive, which was replaced by professional stills only in the middle of the 20th century. Ensuring high quality has always been Sibona's primary goal. Therefore, in order to preserve even the finest fragrances and aromas, only the best grape marc from the Piedmont region is used, which is processed immediately upon arrival at the distillery. The good quality is further determined by the distillation process. The team of Sibona has thereby continuously improved their already high quality standards through constantly improved distillation techniques and through the great experience of two specialized oenologists.

Berta Grappa TRA NOI Nebbiolo da BAROLO mit Holzkiste 70 cl / 42 % Italien Grappa Berta TRA NOI, made from the Piedmontese Nebbiolo grape and packaged here in a wooden box, is a fusion of the Italian art of distillation and the Swiss craft of cooperage. The Berta grappa distillery is located half an hour south-east of Asti - the Italian town that gave its name to the famous sparkling wine Asti Spumante. Surrounded by extensive vineyards, the distillery specializes in processing wine marc that is supplied from all over the country. After the successful fermentation process and distillation in modern stills, the pomace brandy is first stored in steel containers and then in barrels made from various types of wood, which are stacked in the impressive ageing cellar. In the well-insulated, ventilated cellar system, natural temperature fluctuations are eliminated, allowing the grappas to mature evenly. The Berta distillery's product range is extensive. The grappas from the TRA NOI collection have one thing in common: they are stored in barrels made from Schyzwer cherry wood. This is quite a rarity in the spirits industry, but the Berta family recognized that their grappas harmonize particularly well with the traditional Swiss wood. The Nebbiolo da Barolo grappa is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. These come from Piedmont and produce tannin-rich, expressive red wines. Because the grape variety is so demanding, it has not yet been able to establish itself in foreign growing regions. Yet the Nebbiolo vine has been cultivated in the hills of Montferrat - the home of the grappa distillery - since ancient times! The grappa tastes full-bodied, fruity, smooth and sweet. It should rest in the glass for a few minutes before tasting so that the aroma can fully develop.
