No. 209 San Francisco Gin 70 cl / 46 % USA
Gin N.209 is produced in small batches and obtained by performing distillation cycles of eleven hours. Each batch of the different botanicals is tested by the master distiller in mini-stills to assess the intensity and characteristics of each essence. Only after this step, the botanicals are macerated and then distilled. This process allows a better control and a better uniformity of the final product. The base spirit is made from four Midwest corn stover stills and has a smooth, almost sweet finish. The water used is derived from melting snow in the Sierra Nevada mountains. After macerating the botanicals in a copper still for one night, the product is distilled a fifth time. In this way, a unique, pure and handcrafted distillate is obtained. Traditional and modern at the same time, it is pleasant in every way.
