This Irish whiskey makes it up to the world-famous Scottish single malts and relies on a peaty-smoky flavor.

The Connemara region of Ireland is a must-see for travelers as it provides an interesting contrast between green valleys with many small lakes, mystical moorland and rugged mountain ranges. The Kilbeggan distillery, on the other hand, is located in the heart of the Irish lowlands, surrounded by a network of pastures, meadows and fields, and is considered the country's oldest licensed whiskey distillery.
