The Kavalan Classic is a single malt from Taiwan, which after firing in Bourbon barrels of American oak stores and tastes particularly fruity. He was awarded a trophy in 2014 at the International Spirits Competition.


In 2005, T.T. Lee dreamed up his own and founded his own whiskey distillery in Taiwan, which he named after the name of a Taiwanese native tribe. There is high humidity and temperatures 15 ° C above the Scottish average. It soon became clear that storage periods of twelve years or more in Taiwan would not be possible. However, the team of the Kavalan Distillery was not deterred by this and has meanwhile brought various whiskeys onto the market, with which they have already won numerous international awards. Classic Whiskey is a single malt aged in old bourbon barrels made from imported, malted barley. The classic single malt has a fruity taste that is dominated by mango and mates with the oak of the barrels.
