England in 1783 was the largest importer of French champagne. Even then bottles are recycled and so it is no surprise that many champagne bottles were in their "second life" for gin bottle.
Old English Gin is produced according to a recipe from 1783, which is still safely stored in a safe at the distillery.

Henrik Hammers goal was to produce this unique product as authentic as possible and to meet at the same time today, very high quality standards and requirements of environmental protection (CO2 neutrality).
In order to enhance the overall concept beyond, recycled, printed champagne bottles and natural sealing wax used, as 1783 was customary.
