The Santa Teresa family from Venezuela looks back on a 200-year tradition: the "Santa Teresa Solera 1796 Antiguo de Solera" is made from the finest cane sugar by means of an unusual and rather elaborate storage system. Rum has already won several awards for its taste.

The Aragua Valley in Venezuela offers the best climatic conditions to grow particularly aromatic cane sugar. The "Santa Teresa Solera 1796" is produced from this raw product after 200 years of family tradition. In addition there is a special storage system: four selected barrels of best wood are stacked on top of each other. During the storage period of at least 15 years, the rum runs through each of these barrels and develops a new note in each. He then gets his finish in a particularly fine barrel made of Limousin oak. This unusual and elaborate storage system pays off: The rum has already been awarded several times for its taste, including gold at the "Rum Fest Caribbean Week".
