Hendrick's Gin Orbium is enriched with tart flavors normally associated with tonic water (quinine) and vermouth (wormwood). The addition of blue lotus blossom underlines the floral character.

The same free spirits who before the turn of the millennium brought the world a gin with cucumbers and Damascus roses are now responsible for this "Quininated Gin". Hendrick's Gin Orbium pays tribute to precisely those elixirs that are often and gladly combined with juniper brandy: Tonic Water and Vermouth. The original Hendrick's Gin is thus additionally flavored with quinine and wormwood, which leave tart, almost bitter notes. But master distiller Lesley Gracie still has an ace up her sleeve for her reinterpretation: The Blue Lotus Blossom. Hendrick's Gin Orbium from the Girvan Distillery in Scotland, run by William Grant & Sons, is currently still hard to come by on the European mainland, but its unique recipe is attracting a lot of interest on the bar scene. Best served in the dark blue bottle as a Martini (with Dry Vermouth), Martinez (with Dry Vermouth and Maraschino Liqueur) or Gin & Soda.
