Along the checkerboard streets of Glasgow, Irn-Bru has been writing magical powers for more than a hundred years. This is in a good old tradition, as the Scots have always had a tendency to imput dubious liquids the effect of magic potions. This miracle cure supposedly overcomes the side effects of other potions such as beer and whiskey: it's supposed to be a hangover killer. Not least, this reputation has contributed to the fact that in Scotland more Irn-Bru was sold at times than Coca-Cola, which is not unique worldwide, but very rarely.

The smell of Irn-Bru goes slightly towards citrus, but it does not smell like fruit or even organic. It is more reminiscent of the synthetic fragrance of flavored chewing gum globules.
