Birra BALADIN LEÖN Belgian Strong Dark Ale Kiste 12 x 330 ml / 8.5 % Italien With its classic brown color, reminiscent of a monk’s tunic, Leön has a nice thick and persistent, hazelnut-colored head. At first smell, the fruity scent of fruit cooked in a wood oven fills the nose. Then, coffee aromas blend with woody nuances, which turn into fuller notes of chocolate as the beer becomes warmer. The heat of its 9% alcohol content immediately hits the palate, with a touch of sour cherries in brandy. This is quickly replaced by the taste of roasted cereals, which gently fill the mouth with notes of chocolate, cocoa beans and coffee. A rather sweet beer with a strong body, complex but very enjoyable.

BALADIN COLA Limonade Alkoholfrei Kiste 24 x 330 ml Italien Cola Baladin is a non-alcoholic drink without dyes or preservatives, made using kola nuts from the Slow Food Presidio in Sierra Leone, so that their purchase, together with part of the proceeds from the sale of the drink, provides a small source of income for the Presidio. The use of these kola nuts and the decision not to use artificial coloring meant that the new Baladin drink has an unusual color for a cola. It is red! It is this color that distinguishes it from other, more "commercial" products and immediately reveals our intention. Because we don't want to be pinned down to a profit concept, but rather take the freedom to offer the consumer a strong signal: Often it is quite simple to make your own contribution to support the people who do not have the means to help themselves. Sierra Leone is one of the many African countries suffering from political struggles and economic wars. Our cola is certainly a niche product, but it allows us to pursue the noble goal of sustainability in its deepest meaning.
