indian-pale-ale

This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you’re on.

Already 600 years ago, the Archbishop of Trondheim Aslak Bolt recognized the grandeur of the hops as an aromatic addition to beer brewing. Every year he motivated the farmers in Trondheim to plant 10 hop seedlings to feed the monastery brewery. The Bolt IPA, with its concentrated hop aromas, pays homage to the early efforts in hop breeding and therefore bears his name. Bolt IPA goes well with high-potency foods such as thaicurries, Mexican tacos, Indian chicken tikka masala or fresh cheese.

Kitchen Brew SESSION IPA 24 x 330 ml / 4.5% Switzerland Only boxes, sorry Session IPA. The light interpretation of IPA. We compromise without compromise two beer styles - a light beer and an IPA. India Pale Ales (IPA) were heavily hopped ales in early colonial England to preserve the beers for the month-long voyage to India. Today they are due to their high hop content one of the big engines of the North American and worldwide craft beer world. Golden bright, light (4.5% alcohol content), dry, markedly bitter and powerfully spicy, our Session IPA can be characterized. In the lightness of this session beer, the high content of bitter substances and the fantastic variety of aromas of the Mosaic hop unfold enormously. Brewed with mosaic hops from Washington State (USA) and malt from the Upper Rhine (Germany). The distinctive fruitiness and spiciness is due to the method of late hopping. A surprisingly rich light beer. Experience the power of the Mosaic hop.
