What is Vitamin D3?

Vitamin D3 is often referred to as the sunshine vitamin, because our body covers most (about 70-90%) of our vitamin D3 needs itself by converting sunlight, which means that we can cover a maximum of 30% of our daily needs with foods containing vitamin D3, such as raw fish. For the body's own synthesis, which is crucial in this respect, the UVB rays from the sunlight must strike our naked skin almost vertically in nature with sufficient intensity. Only then is the cholesterol deeper in the skin reached, which ultimately synthesizes vitamin D3, which is then converted in the liver, kidney and bone marrow into its active form, the hormone calcitriol. In our Central European latitudes, UVB rays reach us under the described conditions only between May and September when the sun is shining.

Vitamin D supports normal bone and muscle functions as well as a normal function of the immune system. Among other things, vitamin D3 ensures that calcium, which enters our body through food, is transferred from the intestine into the blood. It is thus a partner of vitamin K2 in calcium absorption, which is also responsible for the transport of calcium from the blood to the bones.

NATURE HEART VITAMIN D3

NATURE HEART VITAMIN D3 is a completely vegetarian product and is obtained from wool wax (lanolin). This is a secretion produced in the sebaceous glands of sheep, which is obtained from shorn wool. Our wool wax comes from German wool sheep from free-range farming. Lanolin as an animal product has the advantage that it can be very well utilized by the body.

Furthermore, we do not use any artificial additives in the production process in order to offer our customers a completely pure product. One bottle of NATURE HEART VITAMIN D3 contains 50 ml, which corresponds to 1750 drops of 1000 I.U. each.

Consumption recommendation:

1 drop daily. Glasses are not suitable for taking. We recommend the use of a teaspoon.
