DON JULIO 1942 Tequila Gift Pack 70 cl / 38% Mexico This premium tequila is made from 100% Weber blue agave using traditional methods and is aged for 30 months in white oak barrels. It is a tribute to the founder of the company, Don Julio, who began making his tequilas in 1942. Tradition has it that Don Julio Gonzalez-Fraustro Estrada originally produced his eponymous tequila only in small quantities and at the age of 17. It was not intended for sale, but for his private use. Soon Don Julio decided to start his own distillery. His goal with Don Julio was to capture the flavor of the Blue Agave grown specifically for his distillery, which grew for eight to ten years on the mineral-rich clay soil. These agaves were planted with extra space between them to produce an extremely high sugar content in them. After the agave hearts are harvested, they are roasted in stone ovens for three days before being distilled into Don Julio Tequila. The "Don Julio 1942" tequila is then aged for two and a half years in selected American white oak barrels before being bottled in the slim bottle.

Casamigos Tequila ANJEO 100 % Agave 70 cl / 40 % Mexiko A tequila aged for 14 months from the billion-dollar Casamigos brand. Would you like an autograph from George Clooney? Your search could end here: Every Casamigos bottle features the signature of the popular actor as well as that of his friend Rande Gerber (Cindy Crawford's husband). Clooney is not the millionaire brand ambassador for Casamigos, but the co-founder. As always, it all started in 2013 with a real “crazy idea”. With the aim of finding a tequila that would not burn on the finish and would not spread a hangover, Clooney and Gerber tested hundreds of tequilas in Mexico on their newly acquired land in the village of Casamigos. They didn't need a new recipe, just the right distiller who was already producing the right spirit. The brand was quickly registered and exports began. When it came to marketing, the two knew how to get their message across: There's Clooney on a motorcycle in the Mexican wilderness, Clooney surrounded by smiling, hat-wearing farmers in an agave field and Clooney at a wet and cheerful celebration. The film also rained awards. The success was so great that Diageo bought Casamigos for one billion dollars in 2017.Each Casamigos tequila is roasted in brick ovens for 72 hours and fermented for 80 hours with the addition of a special yeast strain before the actual distillation begins. The Añejo edition is then matured for 14 months to take on its darker color and multi-faceted aroma with caramel, vanilla and oak tones.

The Corralejo Tequila Anejo 100% de Agave is produced near Guadalajara on one of the oldest tequila haciendas in the country using traditional methods and without the addition of colorings or preservatives. He is resting for at least twelve months in new barrels of charred oak.Pedro Sanchez founded the Hacienda Corralejo in 1775, which is one of the country's oldest tequila distilleries. Located in the Penjamo area, near Guadalajara, this is where high-quality tequilas are made according to a centuries-old tradition. The Maguey agave, which is the typical tequila agave, also called blue agave, grows here in the Mexican Central Plateau for about eight years before being harvested and processed by the tequileros. After cooking the hearts, defibering and a fermentation process, the resulting juice is distilled twice. The ripe Anejo Tequila is then matured in barrels. The master distillers of Hacienda Corralejo have decided on the Anejo to use new, charred Limousin Oak, which gives their notes to the tequila. The Anejo matures here for at least twelve months. Without the addition of colorings or preservatives, the Anejo is bottled afterwards.
