Wild Creatures BLANC DE BRUT 2022 Barrel Aged Wild Ale 75 cl / 9.7 % Tschechien – Product view

Wild Creatures BLANC DE BRUT 2022 Barrel Aged Wild Ale 75 cl / 9.7 % Tschechien

Wild Creatures BLANC DE BRUT 2022 Barrel Aged Wild Ale 75 cl / 9.7 % Tschechien Blanc de Brute from Wild Creatures Brewery is a unique White Grape Wild Ale, created by combining spontaneously fermented brews and white grapes. This beer, with 9.0% ABV and 17° alcohol content, is a blend of two-year-old brews that have spent more than a year together with selected varieties of Pinot Blanc and Solaris grapes from local vineyards. The result is a delicate and harmonious taste that combines the best of both worlds – wine and beer. Beers enriched with white grapes are not very common on the market, and that is what makes Blanc de Brute so special. The long maturation process in barrels, partly with grapes, gives it a refined and sophisticated taste. With the first sip, you will feel a hint of the beauty of the Mikulov vineyards. Blanc de Brute is a beer that is not afraid to cross the boundaries between beer and wine, and its deliciously vinous character will appeal to even the most demanding gourmets. Its very fine effervescence adds another dimension. Wild CreaturesJitka tasted her first spontaneous beer sometime at the beginning of the new millennium and immediately fell in love with these beers. A few years later, in 2011, she brought her enthusiasm for lambics to her husband's brewery, and the foundations of the Wild Creatures brewery were laid. Just like Belgian lambic, we only brew our beers during the cold months. We cool the wort (inoculate it) in a coolship, where it is exposed to local microflora, which we call "Wild Creatures" at the brewery. These microorganisms create the character of our beers. Since the brewery is located in the middle of vineyards, our beers have a more pronounced wine character compared to Belgian lambic. We then store the wort in wine barrels that we brought from France. And then we wait. For our wild ales, we wait six to nine months, roughly two years for spontaneously fermented beers, and even longer for beers that we label as Reserve. We create the final taste of the beer by blending (mixing) different barrels. Each barrel is different and all of them need to be checked regularly. With almost two hundred barrels, this is a pleasant but quite demanding task.

Wild Creatures WILDFIRE Oak Aged Raspberry Wild Ale 75 cl / 6.5 % Tschechien – Product view

Wild Creatures WILDFIRE Oak Aged Raspberry Wild Ale 75 cl / 6.5 % Tschechien

Wild Creatures WILDFIRE Oak Aged Raspberry Wild Ale 75 cl / 6.5 % Tschechien Even in Czechia, a country where its own beer culture, dominated by bottom-fermented beer styles, is of outstanding importance, there has been a brewery specializing in lambic for several years. We are talking about Wild Creatures and its creative head, master brewer and master blender, Jitka Ilčíková. The brewery is located in the heart of the Moravian wine region, and just a few meters away from the brewery are the company's own vineyards. They are located on the slopes of the Pálava hills, and the brewery uses its own grapes to produce grape lambics. Apricots are also grown, and most of the fruit used in their beers is picked just a few kilometers away. Whole fruits, including the pits, are used to ferment the beer. Just like Belgian lambic, Wild Creatures beer is brewed during the cold months. The wort is cooled in a cooling vessel and infected by local microflora, affectionately referred to by Jitka as wild creatures. As the brewery is located in the middle of vineyards, Wild Creatures Lambics are more wine-like compared to the Lambics of the Zenna Valley. On Untappd, Wild Creatures is the second highest rated brewery in Czechia. Spontaneously fermented lambic beers form a microcosm of their own within Belgian beer culture. They are considered particularly natural, complex, and high-quality, and some even describe them as magical due to their uncontrolled spontaneous fermentation. After this beer style was doomed to extinction in the 1980s, it has made a furious comeback in recent decades and has been fascinating new generations of beer lovers ever since. Every year in September, they celebrate Zwanze Day, created by Cantillon, all over the world, and every two years, the Tour de Geuze attracts thousands of tourists to rural Payottenland. And even at Café In De Verzekering Tegen De Grote Dorst (“In the insurance against the great thirst”), named the best beer bar in the world by ratebeer.com from 2014 to 2020, Lambic beers play a major role on the extensive menu. No wonder, then, that this specialty, which has been awarded the Protected Geographical Indication label, is inspiring more and more brewers in other countries as well.

Wild Creatures MEDIATION Spontaneous Ale Aged in Oak Barrels 75 cl / 7.2 % Tschechien – Product view

Wild Creatures MEDIATION Spontaneous Ale Aged in Oak Barrels 75 cl / 7.2 % Tschechien

Wild Creatures MEDIATION Spontaneous Ale Aged in Oak Barrels 75 cl / 7.2 % Tschechien Meditation is the Moravian version of Belgian Oude Geuze, which is created by combining young and old lambic. In our case, we use one-year-old, two-year-old, and three-year-old lambic. The older ones are dry and have a very distinctive taste. The young ones are mild and contain the sugar needed for the beer to ferment. No other beer reflects the personality of the blender who selects the barrels and the proportions in which they will be blended. Each vintage is slightly different (similar to wine vintages) and the beer is ideal for longer storage. Beer champagne, very reminiscent of the French classic. A traditional blend of 3, 2, and 1-year-old beer. Meditation is a choice that always pleases Why try it? If you want to try a classic, there is no better choice. With every sip, you want more and can't get enough. Despite its distinctive wine character, it is a pure beer. That's how strong the influence of the terroir where we brew beer is. It is a beer born among vineyards. Recommended food pairing: Simplicity is power. You will delight yourself and your loved ones with a combination of different aged Parmesan cheeses. Try how your perception of flavors changes and how deliciously cheese complements lambic! What is Wild Creatures? Wild. Untamed. Fascinating. Wild Creatures is no ordinary beer. It is a unique combination of beer and the local terroir, which is ideal for wine. It is a beer produced in a purely natural way (sometimes also referred to as "lambic"). It matures for many years in oak barrels and each bottle is shaped like a champagne bottle. You are holding a drink that is fresh, complex, and unique in taste. A beer that will delight even the most demanding palates The beer is fresh, full-bodied, and dry (not sweet) in taste. It's something you simply enjoy. Yes, something between beer and wine. It encourages you to take another sip, just like beer, and at the same time it has the depth of wine. You can sense the time it took for each individual barrel to mature. Beer in a wine glass? Yes. This beer is not drunk from a mug. You want to savor this beer and caress it on your tongue. Discover why they are irreplaceable in taste! Looking for a gift? These beers are ideal. The bottles are shaped like champagne, and the delicate wine taste will first enchant you and then subtly seduce you. Thanks to the 100% natural production method and maturation in bottles, our beer has a recommended shelf life of 10 years on average. The question is, who can resist drinking it... We are among the world's best, but we are still a small family-run business. We are producers, not distributors. We know everything there is to know about beer and are happy to share our knowledge. We participate in events around the world. We export our beer, give lectures about beer, and evaluate beer in various expert committees around the world. We simply live and breathe beer.

Birra BALADIN LEÖN Belgian Strong Dark Ale Kiste 12 x 330 ml / 8.5 % Italien – Product view

Birra BALADIN LEÖN Belgian Strong Dark Ale Kiste 12 x 330 ml / 8.5 % Italien

Birra BALADIN LEÖN Belgian Strong Dark Ale Kiste 12 x 330 ml / 8.5 % Italien With its classic brown color, reminiscent of a monk’s tunic, Leön has a nice thick and persistent, hazelnut-colored head. At first smell, the fruity scent of fruit cooked in a wood oven fills the nose. Then, coffee aromas blend with woody nuances, which turn into fuller notes of chocolate as the beer becomes warmer. The heat of its 9% alcohol content immediately hits the palate, with a touch of sour cherries in brandy. This is quickly replaced by the taste of roasted cereals, which gently fill the mouth with notes of chocolate, cocoa beans and coffee. A rather sweet beer with a strong body, complex but very enjoyable.
