Intense bouquet of ripe black cherries, licorice, blueberries and spice aromas. Soft and round on the palate, very intense attack with aromas of black berries and beautifully integrated roasted aromas, elegant, full-bodied with juicy acidity and fine tannins. The long finish is characterized by spice and ripe fruit.
The vines grow on limestone and clay soil. The mild winter climate and the dry springs and summers create ideal conditions for the vines. The grapes for Montemajor Quattronotti are lightly dried on the vine using the appassimento method. The grapes are then harvested cool in the freshness of the night to obtain the best possible aromas. The magical event lasts only four nights: quattronotti.
