nginious! Apéritif 70 cl / 21 % Schweiz

A blend of white wine, gin, sweetening honey, and herbal and lemon infusions.

With its products, the Swiss spirits startup nginious! focuses on recognition value. The first creations were made at the Hans Erismann distillery, but the company needed its own experimental workshop in the heart of Basel to drive the company's history forward. In the workshop building of the Aktienmühle, they got hold of an area of 200m² and christened the new distillery Liquid Spirit Distillery. To speed up the expansion, a crowdsale campaign was organized where interested supporters could purchase a bottle of gin and automatically donate a certain percentage. After developing various gin special editions, nginious! began to think outside the box - but without turning its back on the "gin" theme. This was followed by a pre-mixed Negroni as well as this white wine-based aperitif, which is enriched with the company's own Swiss Blended Gin as well as lemons, herbs and acacia honey. The taste impressions of the gin were also immediately packed into the bottle design, whereby one deviated for the first time from the hip flask design and chose a cylindrical bottle shape. The aperitif is best tasted neat on ice, with a dry tonic water or mixed with Prosecco.
