MARS Maltage COSMO Malt Selection 70 cl / 43 % Japan

The Mars Maltage COSMO Malt Selection is a blend of Scottish and Japanese single malt whiskeys made in the Shinshu distillery. His exact age is unknown, but relatively young whiskeys are suspected in the blend.

The Mars Maltage COSMO Malt Selection comes from the Shinshu distillery, which reopened in 2011 and is one of a total of nine Japanese distilleries. Located on the main island Honshu in the Japanese Alps, the distillery was founded in 1985 and then remained silent for many years. Today they have a relatively small production volume and the demand for their whiskeys exceeds the capacity of the distillery. The Mars Maltage COSMO Malt Selection is a blend of relatively young whiskeys and is made not only with the distillery's products, but with imported single malt whiskeys from Scotland, keeping its exact place of origin a secret. The alcohol content is set to 43% with the clear water, which is filtered through granitic rocks of the Japanese Alps, and then bottled. By the way, the Cosmo got its name after one of the mountains in the Alps.
