This Säntis Malt Edition in the slightly crooked bottle has a bitter taste with distinct woody flavors.
The history of the Locher family and their art of brewing dates back to the 19th century. But it was not until 1999, when the national ban on spirits production from grain was lifted, that Karl Locher started to produce whiskey. Three years later, the first Swiss single malts were on the market, with the family launching a new edition each year. In the Föhnsturm edition, the clear woody flavors and the tart taste are to be emphasized. He is filled according to the name in a slightly crooked bottle.
