Siddùra Èrema Cannonau di Sardegna DOC 2023 Red Wine – A ruby-red wine with a robust, full-bodied character. On the palate, it is dense and velvety, well-balanced and complex, with aromas of dark cherries, raspberries, and blackberries. Aging in oak barrels adds notes of vanilla and spice, while the tannins are present yet subtle. The experience is rounded off by a long, elegant finish.Fact Sheet Grape Variety: Cannonau Region: SARDEGNA Vintage: 2023 Alcohol: 14% ABV Serving Temperature: 16–18°C Closure: Cork Awards: Decanter Silver Medal About SiddùraThe discovery of an abandoned, ancient vineyard in the breathtaking landscape of Gallura inspired the winemakers at Siddùra to take on a new challenge and helped fulfill a long-held dream. The Siddùra winery describes itself as a love letter to Sardinia, a tribute to the island's purity, simplicity, and tradition. A perfect combination of soil, terroir, and weather in the midst of nature, close to the sea, produces uniquely distinctive wines. The RegionWine has been made on Sardinia, Italy's second-largest island, for a very long time. Civilizations such as the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Romans, and Spaniards left their mark, leading to a great diversity of grape varieties. Historically, linguistically, and culturally, Sardinia seems detached from Italy; it is therefore no wonder that most of its significant grape varieties are of Spanish origin. Sardinia is home to a large number of grape varieties that are as distinctive as the Sardinians themselves. From these, an increasing number of winemakers produce equally individual yet exceptional wines, many of which are considered hidden gems. Generally, Sardinia's Mediterranean climate is characterized by cooler conditions in the north and very dry conditions on the south coast; the soils are partly loamy inland and tend to be sandier along the coast.Case of 6 x 75 cl bottles. Delivery throughout Switzerland within a few business days. Available to purchasers aged 18 and over.

At that time, the Lucerne-based firm Businger & Cie ensured shipping traffic on Lake Lucerne, at the foot of the Gotthard, as a logistics and service provider in north-south trade. Later, Businger also became a food wholesaler and wine importer. In 2004, Liliane and Hans-Erich Fischer-Curti's daughter, Corinne Fischer, took over the management of Bataillard AG, which she led with passion until 2012. Since then, Corinne Fischer has served as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors. Her brother, Marc Fischer, is the Managing Director of Steinfels Wine Auctions. Due to river deposits, the pebbles are large and rounded and permeate the surface of the soil. The vines must therefore dig their roots deep into the earth; vigorous vines and healthy grapes are the result. The RegionIn southern France, geographically adjacent to the Rhône Valley, the country's largest wine region, Languedoc, nestles along the Mediterranean coastline with its vineyards and picturesque old stone houses. The climate is characterized by plenty of sunshine, mild winters and hot summers. The vines that thrive here—mostly on limestone soils—are vigorous and strong due to the region's aridity. In addition to viticulture, olive cultivation dominates the agricultural landscape, with olives also thriving without artificial irrigation. Languedoc is an exceptionally colorful region: the Mediterranean flair is palpable everywhere—in the typical earthenware, the airy fabrics and the light, flavorful dishes.Case of 6 bottles of 75 cl each. At a time when the world only thought of Rioja when it came to Spanish wines, he set about cultivating old, abandoned vineyards in previously unknown growing areas. In doing so, Bodegas Volver has succeeded not only in reviving old, indigenous grape varieties but also in repositioning Spanish quality wines. The RegionArchaeological finds show that vines were cultivated in the Valencia region as far back as prehistoric times. Today, the largest port city in Spain, the autonomous region and one of the five DO areas in the Levante gives it its name. In the Valencia DO, white wine is produced on brown, limestone-rich soils to the greatest extent, mainly from the late-ripening Merseguera grape; fruity, pleasantly drinkable red wines are made from well-matured Monastrell and Garnacha. The different landscape structures of the Valencia area are also reflected in the climatic conditions: a hot and humid Mediterranean climate near the coast, and drier and less hot conditions in the inland mountain regions.Case of 6 bottles of 75 cl each. It is one of South America's most promising wine regions and a highly coveted terroir: some of the best Chilean red wines are produced here, particularly from Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, and Shiraz. The Mediterranean climate is textbook for viticulture: warm summers are cooled by sea breezes, and dry days are refreshed by the rivers. In addition, the grapes benefit from ideal sun exposure on granitic soils on hillsides, and the Tinguiririca River brings meltwater from the Andes, enriching the soils with clay-like material.Case of 6 bottles of 75 cl each.
