This grape variety is essential to Bodegas Luzón and has been cultivated through a long family tradition. The history of the bodega begins in far-off Luzon, the largest island in the Philippine archipelago. The founder, Don José Molina, returned from his military service there to his hometown of Jumilla in 1814 and named his land "Finca Luzón" – after the island that remained in his memory. Subsequently, the winery was managed for several generations by the women of the Molina family, which proved the winery's unmistakable pioneering spirit even back then. This love for tradition and passion for innovation are still reflected in the wines of Bodegas Luzón today. The vineyards are cultivated on over 500 hectares at an altitude of 450 to 600 meters, with a variety of soils and climate zones that make it possible to grow not only the essential Monastrell grape, but also other varieties such as Garnacha Tintorera, Viognier, and Sauvignon Blanc, to name just a few.The RegionMurcia is a smaller, lesser-known region in the far southeast of Spain. It borders Andalusia, Castile-La Mancha, Valencia, and the Mediterranean Sea. There are three DO wine designations in Murcia: Yecla in the north, Jumilla in the south, and Bullas in the western province. The classic wine of these regions is a robust, fruit-forward red wine made from Monastrell. In addition to Monastrell, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah are grown for red wines, as well as Macabeo, Airen, and Merseguera for white wines.Case of 6 bottles of 75 cl each. The final touch is the unique, handcrafted bottle of the premium Reserva Heredad. The RegionCatalonia is a renowned region in northeastern Spain. The Catalans are the driving force and leading innovators in Spanish winemaking. They were the first to produce sparkling wine using the Champagne method in the Penedès, and Cava continues to play an important role there today. This major wine region offers every microclimate imaginable for viticulture. Along the coast, the sea provides freshness and moisture, while inland conditions tend to be drier and hotter. Mountain ranges with their hills and steep slopes also create many exceptional terroirs, particularly on limestone and clay soils. These natural conditions, combined with the ingenuity of local winegrowers, produce an abundance of outstanding wines.150 cl bottle. Delivery throughout Switzerland within a few business days.
