Breathtaking nature unfolds across 120 hectares in the town of Alfaro. The winery is located in Rioja Oriental (formerly Rioja Baja). The vineyards have been cultivated here with great care since 1975, from the outset with the aim of achieving the highest quality for wines made from Tempranillo and Graciano grapes in carefully selected single vineyards. The highest level of expertise is also central to Egomei's cellar. The wine is aged in French Allier oak barrels and small tanks until the perfect balance and depth are achieved. The RegionRioja, Spain's leading wine-growing region, is divided into three areas: Rioja Alta, Rioja Alavesa, and Rioja Baja. The region is famous for its fine red wines and massive wineries, the latter because all wines are aged in oak barrels for at least one year and in the bottle for at least another. After the phylloxera disaster, considerable capital flowed from the Basque industry into the reconstruction of the region and the export of wines to the USA, which is why the wines are traditionally aged in American oak barrels. In Rioja, the red Tempranillo grape is predominantly grown, on a wide variety of soils, from sand to alluvial soil. Climatically, Rioja Baja is Mediterranean, with extremely hot, dry summers and mild winters, while the influence of the Atlantic is noticeable in the cooler Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa.Bottle of 500 cl. At a time when the world only thought of Rioja wines when it came to Spanish wine, he set out to cultivate old, abandoned vineyards in previously unknown wine-growing regions. In doing so, Bodegas Volver has succeeded in not only reviving old, native grape varieties but also repositioning Spanish quality wines. The RegionArchaeological finds prove that vines were cultivated in the Valencia region as early as prehistoric times. Today, Spain's largest port city gives its name to the autonomous region and one of the five DO areas in the Levant. In the DO Valencia, white wine is mainly produced on brown, calcareous soils, primarily from the late-ripening Merseguera grape; fruity, pleasantly drinkable red wines are made from well-ripened Monastrell and Garnacha. The varied landscape structures of the Valencia area are also reflected in the climatic conditions: humid, hot Mediterranean climate near the coast, and drier, cooler conditions in the mountainous regions inland.Bottle of 150 cl. The founder, Don José Molina, returned from there to his hometown of Jumilla after his military service in 1814 and named his land "Finca Luzón" after the island that always remained in his memory. This love for tradition and passion for innovation are reflected in the wines of Bodegas Luzón to this day. Spanning over 500 hectares at an altitude of 450 to 600 meters, the vineyards are cultivated across a variety of soils and climate zones, which makes it possible to grow not only the essential Monastrell grape, but also other varieties such as Garnacha Tintorera, Viognier, and Sauvignon Blanc, to name but a few.The RegionMurcia is a smaller, lesser-known region in the far southeast of Spain. Viticulture has existed in the region since the 12th century. The exceptional climate and the best influences of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic are utilized here to the benefit of the wines. The region is known as the "Empire of Garnacha," as the grape originated here before it was exported to Europe during its expansion by the Kingdom of Aragon. Bodegas Borsao is passionately committed to high quality and excellence in everything it does – this was rewarded almost 10 years ago by Wine Advocate with the prestigious title of "Winery of the Year."The RegionThe northeastern Spanish region of Aragon encompasses the broad Ebro Valley and is dominated in the north by the Pyrenees, which supply the arid valley with water. Because of this location, the wines here show great potential. Small, excellent wineries with a distinct commitment to quality make Aragon, with its four D.O. zones of Cariñena, Calatayud, Campo de Borja, and Somontano, increasingly interesting for wine lovers. It extends from the center of Spain almost to the north coast; the vineyards are located at an altitude of 700 to 1,000 meters above sea level. Despite its proximity to the Atlantic, the climate is continental, characterized by hot, dry summers, icy winters, and significant temperature fluctuations between day and night. The vast, flat southern half of the great central Spanish plateau is a land of extremes: at 500 to 700 metres above sea level, it is extremely hot and dry in summer. While the landscape is still green in spring, it turns ochre-yellow in summer, and most riverbeds dry up. The predominant typical reddish-brown, barren soil is sandy and contains limestone or clay. Its ability to retain scarce water makes viticulture possible. A new generation of modern winemakers here cultivates mainly the white Airén grape variety and focuses on clean, authentic, and mostly organic production.150 cl magnum bottle in an elegant wooden box.
